  An NRA sponsored introduction to shooting for women (18 and older) with little or no firearm experience. Emphasis will be on firearm safety and the enjoyment of shooting. Participants will learn firearm and range safety rules and proper handling and shooting of .22 caliber handguns and rifles, as well as 20 gauge shotguns and is planned to accommodate 24 students. NRA Certified Instructors will conduct the training and each shooter will receive individual instruction. Everything needed for training will be provided. Bottled water and light snacks are also provided. REGISTRATION OPENS JANUARY 15, 2026

  • 11:30 to 12:30 Safety orientation and Range Rules, Firearm Introductions and How We'll Proceed
  • 12:30 to 3:30 Three one hour sessions with rifle, shotgun, and pistol
  •  3:30 to 4:00 Debriefing and issuing the Certificates of Completion

  Cost: $50.00 (pre-registration required). Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to qualify for a refund. This will allow people on the waiting list to participate. Clinic is rain or shine. Dress is comfortable and casual.
